Hi I’m the voice behind Bathhouse Queen. I am the queen of Bathhouse Queen.
If you’re looking for credentials, here they are:
- Decades of experience in bathhouses across the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico — and a few visits in other countries as well
- More visits than I could possibly count (not as high as my body count, but I digress)
- Very few truly awkward moments — and a deep desire to help you avoid them, too
- I still get nervous when visiting a new place — and even sometimes when I’m going to my home club, Club Philly, for a fun night out

Somewhere between a knowledgeable guide and a slightly mischievous gay auntie.
I’m here to:
- Answer the questions you’re not sure how to ask
- Explain the things no one explains
- Help you walk in feeling confident instead of confused
No judgment. No weird gatekeeping. No “you should already know this.”
Almost no other resources exist like this one, and I’m glad to be the one to bring it into existence!
Home Base
I’m based in Philadelphia, and yes, Club Philly is my home club. Like any good home base, it’s:
- Familiar
- Occasionally surprising
- Full of stories
And it’s informed a lot of what you’ll read here.
Why I Started This
Because I kept seeing the same thing happen:
People are curious about bathhouses, but they don’t have a place to learn the basics. So they either:
- Don’t go
- Or go in completely unprepared (and often have a horrible time because they weren’t prepared or in the right mindset or …)
That’s just not right, so I started answering questions — casually at first on Squirt and Sniffies — and realized just how much people were looking for clear, honest guidance.
Bathhouse Queen grew out of that.
